About

Bringing more than 20 years pastoral experience to the table, Scott Wilson is the senior pastor of The Oaks Fellowship in Dallas. His church has tripled in size over the last three years and now ministers to more than 3,000 people via five weekend worship experiences.

Navigating the accompanying changes in staff structure, new services and going multi-site, Wilson became an expert at guiding a church through times of transition, and now helps other church leaders master the process. He also strives to strengthen and empower church and marketplace leaders to fulfill their God-given callings through an organization he founded called Focus Five Leadership, where he serves as CEO.

Furthering a passion for the next generation, Wilson and his father, Dr. Tom Wilson, lead Life School, an innovative public school system that currently educates more than 3,500 students in four locations in the Dallas area. In 1998, Wilson helped envision and found The Oaks School of Leadership for the purpose of training and equipping godly leaders in association with the Southwestern Assembly of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. The fully accredited Oaks School of Leadership also funnels leadership into The Oaks Fellowship multi-site ministry and its partners worldwide.

Scott is the author of two books: “The Next Level: A Message of Hope for Hard Times” (Baxter Press) and “Steering Through Chaos: Mapping a Clear Direction in the midst of transition and change” (Zondervan). His latest book, “Act Normal: Moving Compassion from Niche to Norm” (Cross Section and Influence Resources) will be released in the fall.

A devoted husband and father, Wilson and his wife Jenni have three sons, Dillon, Hunter and Dakota. They make their home in the Dallas area.
